USING SAND CANDLE
How long does a candle burn?
For your reference, the pearls burn slower compared to traditional candles 100g burns for approximately 8.5+ hours.
The total burn time varies greatly based on how the product is used. Do you relight the same wick or refresh it each time? Do you use one or more wicks at a time? All these will affect how long your pearled candle will last.
Burnt Out. Now What do I do?
You can either dispose both the wax and the wick in a biodegradable bin or break apart the wax and place it underneath a new layer of Sand Candles for reusability.
Can your product be reused after floating in water?
Absolutely! Simply filter the pearl sand from the water and let it air-dry naturally. Important: Never attempt to heat-dry them.
Why does my candle burn out so quickly?
The most common reason is having too much wick exposed. When inserting the wick, only let about 1/4 inch protrude - just enough to light it. You can trim the wick during extended use. Remember: the more wick exposed to the flame, the faster your candle burns.
Do I need a wick holder?
Our wicks don't need to be fixed to the bottom of the container, making them safer than traditional candles. When the wick burns down, it will fall into the melted wax and self-extinguish. This unfixed design means even if you accidentally knock over an AuraEvumla candle, it will automatically go out. We recommend leaving at least one inch of space between the wick base and the container.
What are the candle ingredients?
Our sand candles are made from sustainably sourced, highly purified coconut wax. They contain no paraffin, soy, or known allergens, and are free from harmful chemicals like phthalates and parabens. They burn clean with minimal smoke or soot.
